When
Club Training sessions are held on Tuesday nights, starting at 600pm, in the Welcome Bay Primary School Hall.
Visitors
Visitors are always welcome to come and train, but not to watch. The reason for this is, you must get a feel for the class. "Self Defence" is a contact sport. Watching a class can give you a false sense of the skills taught. Taking part in the class, you are forced to appreciate that the art form of Hapkido is something that must be learnt by doing.
What to wear when coming along for the first time
Long pants (track pants) and a sturdy top (sweat top or heavy tee-shirt). The club trains on mats, so when training we are mostly in bare-feet.
