One of the lead instructors of International Combat Hapkido New Zealand, Instructor Nivan Stevenson came to Tauranga on the 5th of June to grade the club instructors and to provide a seminar to interested members of the public. Attending were people from various martial arts and some with no martial art experience at all. It was a good day, with the phrase- "Pain is my friend" being a new slogan for the club.
